I can’t say enough about our mothers 90th birthday party on 9/19/2010..It was the ultimate success. Mother was SHOCKED. I had so many phone calls in reference to the marvelous affair. The hors d’oeuvres were a full meal and superb. Everyone was flabbergasted! The food was fantastic also! Al and I were pulled in so many directions, we were lucky we ate at all. Dear Les, Ever since my birthday celebration on this past Saturday January 9th 2010, I have contemplating whether to buy you a really nice thank you card or get a gift or what, then I decided that a card could not say what I feel “not even Hallmark”. I am still sooooo overjoyed, about everything that YOU made for me. I’ve cried from being so happy, about it all, I am writing but still not able to explain the emotion behind what I felt that night, next to me having my daughter over twenty years ago, that was the happiest I’ve ever been. Les what you do is so extraordinary that it has to come from your HEART because that’s where the best of things come from in anything you do. So I need to tell you again everything you’ve done for me, will resonate in me for a life time. Dear Les, I’m not quite sure how to start this, but obviously it is going to end up with a world of thanks to not only you, but to all your staff that made our day more than we could ever hoped for or imagined. Please extend our most sincere thanks to Joe and Berg as well..I have to say that after our first tasting, we were extremely nervous, and were second guessing our decision to have our wedding at the Savoy Caterers. After our second visit, and seeing first hand what you are capable of, I know we had nothing to worry about. For the couple of months leading up to our wedding, I was asked from many fronts about what was happening with the wedding, from menu to ceremony, questions from my wife to be, my mother , my future mother in-law.. everyone had questions.. My only answer was “We are in good hands”, I trust Les to do whatever he is telling us what he will do, and I’m not going to bug him with the things he’s already told us” That was the most popular answer at the time, but I knew they would be happy once our day arrived. Les from what you did for our little angel, and decorating the wagon for her to the hors d’oeuvres (which 90% of our guests thought was their dinner), to the actual dinner , which was out of this world, the room and the atmosphere; everything you did …You put on a HELL OF A SHOW ! It is now about a month later, and we are still hearing about how amazing the wedding was. With the younger crowd, we have taken compliments with a grain of salt, but when it is an older guest; these are the people who have seen a multitude of weddings in their day. When we hear they have never seen a wedding like this… that is when we know we made the right choice. Les, the spectacle that you put on was just out of this world. You truly are an artist, and a master of your craft. Feel free to use the Berry’s as a more than satisfied client, and as reference if you so choose..What more can we say, other than Thank You from the bottom of our hearts, for making our day not only something we’ll remember forever, but something our guests will be talking about this for years to come.
